Lake Kids at Lake Community Church
At Lake Church our kids (infant through 5th grade) experience safe,
age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.
Your First Visit
Here's what to expect when visiting Lake Kids for the first time:
First, find the Lake Kids Check-In Station. There we will meet your family, check your child into our system, and then one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.
Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
- Parent/guardian name(s)
- Child's name
- Child's birthdate
- Home address
- Phone number
- Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children
To have access to The Lake's Check-In services, go to Church Center app. If you do not currently have the app downloaded, please click the link and choose which device you are using. Download app and follow in app directions.
Once in app, go to Check-In and select Lake Kids Sunday Morning. You will receive a QR code to show the Lake Kids Check-In volunteer.
Before Service: We ask that you pre-check in your child in. Once this process is done you will receive a QR code to present at Check-In station to receive matching name tags. If you are not able to pre-check in your child, one of our volunteers will check-in your child at the Check-In Station. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. A volunteer will place name portion of the tag on your child and you will need to keep the remaining code tag for check-out. Before your child can enter the kids area they will have their temperature checked. As of right now our Kids Area is open to 3 year olds and under. We ask for all children four and above to sit in church with parents.
During Service: In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s identification code will appear on the screen. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child. If your child is four years old through fifth grade, we encourage you to bring a device and head phones so that they are able to access their lesson through https://mylake.church/kids-online. An age appropriate "Kids Pack" will be provided that includes an assortment of activities for each child as you enter the auditorium.
After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to the Check-In Station and show your tag. Our Volunteer will then escort your child back to you from their given classroom.
