Lake Kids at Lake Community Church
At Lake Church our kids (infant through 5th grade) experience safe,
age-appropriate environments, where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.
Nursery: This room is intended for birth through potty trained. In our nursery, children will enjoy an age specific play area. Whether they are walking, crawling, just learning to roll over, or have not lifted their head yet, we have the perfect area for them. While they are with us they will experience play time, snack time, and even some preschool style Bible Lesson. We love our little ones and pray over them while they are with us.
Fuse: This room is intended for potty trained through preschool. In our Fuse space, children will enjoy age specific lessons and play time. These lessons capture kids' attention and imagination while fun activities help them learn Bible stories and verses.
Konnect: This room is intended for kindergarten through fifth grade. In our Konnect space, students' lesson will enhance their relationship with God. They will not only learn new and fun bible stories with activities, but will also find out how those bible stories are applicable to their lives now.
Your First Visit
Here's what to expect when visiting Lake Kids for the first time:
First, you will be guided to our Lake Kids Check-In Station. There we will meet your family, check your child into our system, and then one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.
Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
- Parent/guardian name(s)
- Child's name
- Child's birthdate
- Home address
- Phone number
- Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children
Once your child is checked in....
-A volunteer will place the name potion tag on your child and give you the other portion. The name portion will list your child's name, what class they will be in, along with any medical information needed. The other portion of the tag will need to be kept and returned to the check in area for check out.
-If for some reason our teacher needs you, the code associated with your child will go up on the projector screen during service. We will never put a child's or parents name up. We ask that you exit the auditorium and look for staff/volunteer member who will direct you to your child.
If your child is in 6th-12th grade, we have the perfect place for them! Matt Oakley is the Youth Pastor and holds youth group on Sunday at 6:30pm. All the information about our youth is found on https://mylake.church/lake-students. If you still have questions, please reach out to Pastor Matt Oakley.
